Advice for PSU cables

So im planning to get a 4070/4070super soon, but im not sure if my current PSU
(1) have enough power and
(2) does it have the necessary cables for the new 4070s.
***this PSU is ~3yo, bought in 2020 then RMA-ed to a brand new one in 2021.

this is my current setup:
PSU: Corsair RM Series™ RM750 — 750 W fully modular (exact model here: https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/p/psu...lly-modular-psu-uk-cp-9020195-uk#tab-overview)
CPU: i5 13600kf
MB: MSI Z790P WIFI
RAM: ADATA XPG lancer 16gb x2 ddr5

if it's for the 4070 super. you will need to seek for the 12VHPWR cable which your PSU does not have. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-...5-0-12vhpwr-type-4-psu-power-cable-cp-8920284 . check if your psu is compatible https://www.corsair.com/us/en/s/psu-cable-compatibility

Should have include 12vhpwr to 2x 8 pins inside the graphic card. So he can use back his current 8 pins from the psu.

The Corsair 12VHPWR you can buy from shop so no need for a new PSU.

true. but I for one will never use adaptor.. I prefer direct from PSU to component. having adaptor will drop current. Anyway up to individual comfort.

Heng I don't even use modular PSU, my cable soldered straight to PSU pcb, having connector will drop current. Anyway up to individual comfort.

Heng I only use 2U server redundant PSU, my cable is not just soldered str to PSU PCB, there are also more solid state capacitor than consumer PSU, my PSU generally one dies or drop current another just takes over.
Anyway up to individual comfort. ​

dont worry too much unless using a few meter length cable in the chassis for some reason
