Advice for purchasing from Google store

I'm trying to buy something from the US Google store (not SG one).. but I can't complete my purchase even with a US forwarder address. And it's likely due to using my Singapore credit card.

I've looked up on prepaid or virtual US cards for one-time usage, but can't seem to find any that'll work.

Any advice on what I should do to complete the purchase? I want to avoid using the buy-for-me services to avoid the fees. I'm using ezbuy forwarder which is much cheaper than those comgateway, borderlinx, etc.

Have you tried this virtual card from UOB? http://www.comgateway.com/2012/UOBVirtualPay/

Think read in the pixel thread that it worked for someone. There's no way around it tho, you either have a US CC or or a friend/relative there who can help you, or use a concierge style service...

Thanks for sharing! But it seems that it's only "Exclusively for UOB American Express® Virtual Pay cardholders".

It's okay, I guess I'll buy from another US retailer.. same price.
