when on sale last dec it when to below 700. Lazada Palit RTX also was going at 600plus CNY Sales after discount coupon.
I was tempted.

2070 is not worth the price though. The performance difference between 2070 and 2060 is too minimal to justify the cost. 2060 performs at about 10% difference to 2070 yet costs more then 100 bucks more.

Even on Newegg, the EVGA 2060 cheapest card goes for less then 500 while the 2070 goes for about 100 bucks more as well.

I don't think 10% performance increase is worth that much. 10% increase is basically rx570 vs rx580

Actually the 2080 from Galax at 1000plus is so tempting (to get) even though it is only slightly faster than my 1080Ti

It's the worst card out of all rtx. It can barely run games with Ray tracing which is similar to to 2060, costs more then a 1070ti/1080 when that is it's cloest competitor yet performs roughly around 1080 level. The 2060 is 1070ti level and slightly better in some games as well while coming at 100+ bucks cheaper.

Only reason why it's considered value for money was cause it was the only card at the time which was around 600-700 bucks. Doesn't justify the price I increase at all.
