Hi all, just a quick update. I've been spending lots of time researching the best value parts and have decided to go for the following and have departed a bit from the original build, such as getting a wifi adapter.

Original suggested build
• CPU+MB*AMD Ryzen R5-1600X +
Asus ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING*-*$569
• RAM*Crucial 16GB Ballistix Elite -*$235
• GPU*MSI 1080 8GB Gaming X -*$761.60 (saw a promo to redeem Destiny 2 in the forum, more value)
• SSD*- WD M.2 Blue SSD, 500 GB -*$225*
• CPU Cooler*- Cryorig H7 + AM4 Bracket (Free, Get from Corbell) -*$65
• Power Supply*- Seasonic Focus Plus 550W -*$145
• Case*- Either Phanteks P400 or Fractal Design Define C -*$139/149
• Case Fans*2x 120mm Case Fans - ~$40
• Windows 10 Pro - Carousell - $8
• Monitor -PRISM+ W270 - $375
Total Damage -*$2572~

Build which I went for
CPU: Ryzen 1600X-$296 (with Expedited shipping) Amazon (free game Quake Champions)
Motherboard: Asus B350-F ROG Strix -$192.44 (with Expedited shipping and not including USD$20 rebate; comes with Assassin's Creed: Origins) Amazon
Ram: G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)- $264.64 (including shipping of $25.65)
GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8GB at -$762 (comes with Destiny 2) Amazon Prime Now
SSD: Crucial MX300 1TB -$349 (Expedited shipping)
CPU Cooler: Cryorig H7 with AM4 brackets -$65
PSU: Superflower Leadex Silver 90+ Full Modular 550W - $105
Casing: Phanteks 400S -$129 ($20 coupon from qoo10)
Case Fans: Corsair Air Series AF120 LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fan Twin Pack - Red-$35.75 (Expedited)
WiFi Adapter:TP-Link N150 Wireless High Gain USB Adapter (TL-WN722N), Version 2.0 -$29.56 (Expedited)
Windows 10 Pro: $8
Monitor: Prism W270 -$375

Total damage: $2611.39 (note that there will be shipping savings by grouping the amazon items correctly the price is actually $2596. Will be cheaper because I paid in USD, so will only know after my credit card bill is in).

I got 3 free games and quality parts at $2596 because of Black Friday deals and also by spending a lot of hours trial and erroring how to split my amazon orders to avoid incurring taxes and minimising shipping fees, comparing this part to another, reading reviews and comparing on camelizer. Parts have been ordered and because I chose Expedited shipping (which is the most value delivery option in Amazon in terms of paid delivery because I don't want to wait so long for free delivery, which would have made it $57 cheaper) and it will be just in time for the parts ordered locally to arrive.

I hope that my research can be of assistance to anyone looking for a good gaming computer at the best value for around 2.5k. Let me know what the bros here think.

Cheers!

Hi bro, you are correct that it is only for US Citizens. It stated international rebate but when I tried to apply for it, it limits me to the US. I could possibly get a friend in the US to do it for me, but it's too much of a hassle. I will be changing the total damage to reflect the price without the $20 rebate.
