Hi

I am setting up a budget ITX or NUC based mini computer, to be attached to a TV.

Some questions
1. Can I mount these devices onto a TV, that is to be wall-mounted also
2. Does the mainboards of such devices support virtualization

I am looking at Zotac Zbox BI320 with Intel Celeron 2957U Dual Core 1.4GHz. Can I run a hyper-visor such as Oracle Virtualbox on it? From intel website, it does not support vPro but supports VT-x

Thanks in advance ;)

I doubt you can mount the NUC to your wall-mounted TV since it will be very tough to reach the NUC buttons and ports between your TV and wall.

You will need VT-d for motherboard I/O virtualisation support. Correct me if i am wrong.

Older Celeron CPUs will only have VT-x support, no VT-d nor vPro.

vPro can only be found on much-pricier Core i5/7s.

You should consider this. Tiny and comes with VT-d support:

MSI Cubi B096 C049TW @ $388 (Cybermind)

Comes with:
Intel Celeron 3205U (Broadwell)
2GB RAM
64GB SSD
1x 2.5" HDD bay
Intel AC3160 Wireless-AC WiFi adapter
Windows 8.1
