Hey guys! So im planning build a new rig mainly to play dota 2 and maybe some future titles, however ive got some parts and casing that i wanna reuse from my old computer. Parts that i would be reusing are:

GPU: sapphire r9 280 3gb dual-x
Ram: G.Skill 1600mhz 8GB
Casing: (i cant rmb the EXACT model but its a coolermaster brand)

Also I dont need monitors kb and mouse either and im planning to get Seasonic M12II-MODULAR 620W as my PSU(or are there better options?)

Budget would be roughly around $500++(inclusive of PSU)
I dont want to get bottlenecked coz my cpu or mobo is too cheap so do tell me if my budget is too low and i'll see what i can do about it! Thanks so much guys!

Damaged? :s11: What happened?

Im not sure either but for some reason my computer parts has been failing one by one recently(pc was bought in early 2013) and i actually had replaced my ram and gpu, which is why i am reusing them. Couple of days ago computer started freezing, sometimes it would occur after an hour of usage and other times it would occur literally seconds after boot up. Freezing occurred even in safe mode. i did a couple of tests and found that gpu hdd and ram weren't the problem. So in the end decided it would be better to just get a new rig since this one was getting kinda old anywae.....

Hmmm, seems like you have tried almost everything. Bring rig to PC Care & Solutions, #02-32, and have Nigel lend you a spare PSU for testing your rig with. Can also ask him to take a look at your rig as well and see what he says.

Well, if you insist. $500 is not much to work on though, but the cheap and basic Asrock H81M-HDS will not gimp the performance of your rig.

If there are no stocks of the HX 600 avaliable, consider the FSP Aurum S 600W for $109 instead. (The Seasonic M12II 620W costs $112.)

CPU+ Mobo: ASROCK H81M-HDS + i5 4460 (335)
HDD: TOSHIBA 1TB 7200RPM (69)
DVD-RW: LITEON 24X DVD-RW SATA OEM (25)
PSU: SUPERFLOWER HX 600 (109)

Total cost: $538

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, get PC Themes to assemble for you for a fee.

Would still be best to let Nigel have a look first and discuss possible repair/upgrade options with him first before buying anything.

Alrite bro thanks a bunch!! :D Yeah haha i know $500 was kinda little but i don't mind throwing out more to ensure quality parts haha. All those parts failing on my computer scared me off buying cheaper hardware models hehe
