Hey Guys - Need some help here.

My current setup has been running since 2008 except for hard-drive and GPU upgrade somewhere along the years, its served me pretty well. Main use is Dota 2 and downloading of dramas/serial/porn. I'm having heat issues (part due to mini tower / really used gpu / not the best cable maangement) but i think its about time i commission my trusty (old) Rig.

So here's a few advice i need:
1) Temperature matters A LOT to me. Happy to forgo performance for a really 'cool' GPU (since my needs are simple). What should i go for?

2) I have enough space for a 45cm tower so its not enough for a typical CM mid tower, but then again, i'll be setting up a NAS separately, so i don't really need the big ass tower sitting in the room. Would the GPU recommended fit into a mini tower today? Or anything to recommend larger than the CM mini tower and smaller than Mid Towers?

3) Intel or AMD ? I'm seriously lost for being out of touch for too long. Are AMD's still running a budget ship with faster cores $ for $?

4) Lastly, I don't suppose anyone will recommend an AIO? I know the specs are crap but i don't really need the computing powers. Thou the only MSI ones i'd seen with decent Mobile GPU are massively expensive!! Anyone tried them and any word on the heat issue in such a small casing??

Thanks for reading through the long post^^

Awesome - I'll check out the EVGA GeForce GTX 960..

Sounds stupid.. but if i throw that onto my current rig.. reckon it will work?
Haha.. did they change the PCI-Express slot, or its still the same?

My relic 5770 has been on burning form..
