Advice needed: Non-sensitive home button for Iphone 3gs

How easy to fix the home button on iphone 3GS?
it required some pressure on the button to have it work.
I am looking for some professional repair service at low cost.
I had heard dreaded stories where repairmen had screwed up and make things worst.
Any advice or recommendation?

I fixed it at a mobile shop before. While there weren't any problems after fixing it, the button went insensitive after several weeks. So i think its pretty pointless to fix it.

low cost? DIY, buy part do at home.

3GS? u plan to use this phone how many years more? not worth to repair, IMHO

3gs has been out too long... the battery may bloat anytime now and break the circuit board.

i just fixed my daughter's 3GS last nite. it is very easy to do it except for the part where u have to heat it up using hair dryer, took abt 10 mins to do it.

wanted to fix my S2 home button too but seems like there is no more stock for this obsolete phone
