Advice needed on building a gaming PC

Hi everyone, I am planning to build a custom PC with a budget of $1200. It will be use for playing the latest games and watching videos. Also, i am not interested in overclocking.

These are the parts i have selected so far:
CPU: i5-4430
MOBO: Gigabyte H87M-D3H / Gigabyte H87-D3H
GPU: HD 7850 / HD 7870 / GTX 660 / GTX 660 ti
RAM (2x4GB): G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz CL9 / Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL9
HHD: WD 3.5" 1TB 7200RPM (Caviar Blue)
Case: Sharkoon T28

I've the following questions:
1) What is the difference between the 2 MOBO i have chosen ? Which 1 should i use ?
2) Which of the 4 GPU is more value for money currently ?
3) What is the difference between normal and low profile ram ? Which 1 should i use ?
4) Which PSU should i be using ?
5) Is the Sharkoon T28 able to accommodate this setup ?

rough guide for you, prices taken from tradepac.
Remaining money can pump for another variation of 760 to get 3years warrenty because palit is 2 years.
SSD can push for m5p.
probably can push for 4570 if 1200 without OS

1) Mirco ATX and ATX (correct me if im wrong)
2)depends on budget really, 7870 is good
3) how high the ram is on the board, get normal. Low when you need more space for a cooler?? (Guessing)
4) get at least a 80+ certified

Hi Nippon, Noob question here, What kind of screws are used for the PC building, Thanks in advance. Never build PC before

The screws are all supplied with the casing or relevant parts.

Refer to the manual that comes with the casing to identify which screws to use.

But i wanted a quiet gaming environment, so any recommendation for casing that is quiet yet have good airflow to keep the CPU and GPU cool. Also, should i change the PSU and GPU or the current ones are quiet enough. I don't mind paying abit more for a silent gaming PC.

but imo value for money is still amd tho...thats just my opinion cos they give u free games also unless u really dont care about it at all (never settle bundle)

Nzxt h230 $109. Fractal design r4 $159

Both comes with noise dampening material. Nzxt does not have noise dampening material at the front.

btw if u need an ODD i wld personally recommend getting an external one which u can carry over to future builds/use with other computers/laptops easily

abit more costly but more flexible than getting internal one

unless u gonna install ur OS using a thumbdrive
