Btw is anyone willing to share their notes on linear algebra/big-O/discrete probability? Would like to get a feel of it. Btw KnightNiwrem, I'm now considering the accelerated modules option at NUS...it's gonna be a bit hairy running my business at the same time but I think I might be able to pull it off with enough coffee.

Do books on Android programming in 2013 gets outdated now?

For someone coming from a self-taught background, you should treat programming books (good ones) as conceptual references. For implementation details you should read API documentation/developer guides. That's how I crash coursed myself in all the frameworks I use.

Hahaha. The accelerated mods are not killers - I just think that the regular track modules are really really really slow and boring.

I was just completely mindblown when my friends in the regular track told me that they *just* learnt recursion in their programming methodology module around week 10.

I don't really know what you have to do for business on a daily basis... but I can say that most modules don't have a heavy workload.

Modules that might have a relatively heavier workload are CS1101S, CS3216, CS3217, and probably CS3233.

But CS1101S... well... you can take it in your first semester, which is gradeless, so no big deal.

Well, I write web apps and sites for clients. I can control my workload by taking less work...and I plan to (hopefully) hire at least one other person to help out here and there (especially with testing, god I hate testing).

It seems that anyone with a half-decent grasp of programming concepts will be able to cope with at least most of the first year modules. I'm not too concerned with those. Just thinking how year 2 and 2.5 will play out because I am soon expanding the business significantly...

Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it :D
