Advice Needed

Hello there! Was wondering if any seniors have any suggestions or advice for me
Took ALevels in 2016 and only got 66.25 RP. Didn't manage to secure any spot in public universities.
Don't really wish to retake ALevels as I lost motivation for it. Is there any possible public/private universities I can enter in Singapore which gives me a job that pays averagely in the future? Preferably somewhere alongside IT/Computing. Thanks

However don't worry, you are not the only person. Have given advices over the years for people in this situation, and most of them are doing well now like anybody else.

Among private universities, there is SIM GE which you can consider. UOL is one of the best partner universities if you want to turn things around. Try applying for the less popular local universities like SIT & SUSS anyway.

If you are going the IT/computering route, your portfolio is more important than your qualifications. Learn different softwares and develop technical skills. Intern/work at good start-ups will give you an edge up.

Sectors like accounting have professional qualifications that will cause people to disregard the source of your degree once you obtain it.

Is it possible to find work with an ALevels Cert tho?

Still not sure at the moment :/ I pmed one of the users above, and he said that I should go to a course that I am good in. In this case, economics. But I'm still not sure which courses I can go to so I'm still pretty uncertain

Oi SUSS is just unisim, not SIM GE. Don't be confused they are two different schools
