Get a 5-port gigabit switch. 1 input lan port, 4 output gigabit lan ports. Around $40 or lesser?

If u get the 10/100/1000 mbps, it will be capable of 1000mbps for 4 connections each theoretically. Im getting this once i get my PS4 in my room. Save the need to run another cable frm router.

Using which ISP's fibre?

Chances are you may already have a router but you just wasn't aware...

is this computer near the router?

if so best is to get a cat6 cable and use LAN instead of Wireless for the best speeds

It has 4 ports at the back, so can connect up to 4 desktop/laptop. But question is, is the cable accessible to her pc in the room?

Possible to hook up the 2nd PC on LAN directly? Both PCs in the same room?
