Advice on CIEM please

For DAP, anywhere can get good lobang? or should go second hand? if im not wrong ibasso only treoo have? Ive briefly read but in the mid region ppl recommend Fiio X5 and Ibasso DX90? in high end region is sony ZX-1 and AK 120/120mk2/240? Important for me is if it is able to hold 150gb and more of music. i know some ppl will tell me u dont even listen to all of them but its just me, i like to lug all my music around.

Sir, im quite sure i can work it out the other way right? get my earpiece first then get the dap to fit it. If i buy the dap now, im quite sure ill make sure it sounds good with my 535 which is not my end goal. However if i get it after i get my CIEM, it should be the perfect match alr. Furthermore, i bring around my iphone only for now as it is convenient so for the mean time i believe it would be nice if the CIEM sounds fine with my iphone.

haha, im not the pro here so maybe someone better can comment. However for what is worth, i find the LSX to be very balanced throughout and might get a little boring, soundstage is also narrower(pointed out by aegis). The K10 engages me a bit more and has a wider soundstage. Both are excellent iems and considering LSX has a discount its not a bad deal

If you want a TOTL CIEM that's an all-rounder, the K10 will be hard to beat (the Wizard design is also something to die for). The MH334 (pair it with the Toxic Black Widow to experience audio nirvana) sounds wonderful with 90% of one's music collection, but doesn't fare too well with classical stuff, due to its less than extended treble.

If you happen to change your mind & decide to go for a universal, then look no further than the TG334. If you've noticed, there's going to be a meet hosted by Gavin of Tralucent Audio. Do audition the Ref.1 if you have the time. Its another good option, IMO.

At the end of the day, all TOTL (C)IEMs excel tremendously at their strengths, but their respective signatures may not appeal to some. Do take your time to audition thoroughly before taking the plunge, as you know, such stuff don't come cheap.

Also, its quite a waste not to pair such earphones with a decent source, at least. It doesn't make sense to me at all for let's say, a FitEar user using his/her handphone to listen to music. There are very good & budget DAPs out there like the Fiio X5 & iBasso DX90. Of course, the ultimate one to get is the AK240, but agreeing with its price tag is another matter altogether.
