Hi guys,

dl-ed hwmonitor and saw that my cpu is currently running at temps of 53-58 degrees for my 4 cores at idle while with load goes up to 65-69degrees (cs go) I can hear my cpu fan running at full speed while gaming

I understand those temps are within acceptable range however my previous temps within the first few months of my rig were 40-45 at idle and 50+ load. used compressed air to clean dust and results remain the same, not much dust too and zero thick clumps of dust ball.

My rig was bought and assembled in july last year. Plan to reapply thermal paste, should i install a cooler too just to reduce those temps, seeing those temps make me get an itchy feeling :s13: don want to wc, is a cm storm 212 evo good enough? can recommend others too or what methods i should try.

Thanks!:D

Let us not forget that singapore does not have winter and only have summer all year round. It is humid and temps are bound to be higher than reviews.

Those temps are fine My stock 4770k is 50c on idle and 70-75 c on load and that's already with a full copper heatsink on it. No biggie. Never crashed.

The more you touch your rig, The more silly things you'll spend money on. I lock up my case as a result and tossed the key into the case's box in the store room. Cannot anyhow open up and meddle. :s13:
