Advice on desktop

Hi, can I get advice on the following specs? I'm a newbie to computers, been buying stock pc and thinking of getting a new one. I use it mainly for surfing the net, statistical analysis, and occasional dota or team fortress. I found this ad on the bestbuy price list. Most of it is alien language for me, so please give me some advice!

Thinking of upgrading to 8gb ram, additional $28.
Also thinking of upgrading to haswell i5-4440, additional $79

I would also like to add a 128gb SSD to boot my OS from, but price is not stated, so I'll check with them when I go down.

Hmm, then would it be advisable to get "friendly" version of an OS online as well?

Constantly hoping and praying Warcraft 4 comes out, if they are even making it.
