I'm finally upgrading my 6 year old PC. Looking to upgrade so I can run upcoming games like Starfield and AC6 on ultra performance. I was dabbling around in a PC builder shop and chose this. It came up to 4k, which is high, but does it make sense?

Sorry, quite of the game so am a bit lost with the new GPUs. Is there any fat I can cut or would this be pretty optimal?

Thanks for your inputs!

COOLER - THERMALRIGHT PEERLESS ASSASSIN 120 BLACK
CPU - AMD RYZEN 9 7900X 12C/24T
MB - MSI PRO X670-P WIFI
RAM - CORSAIR VENGEANCE D5 6000MHZ 64GB KIT CL40 AMD
SSD - SAMSUNG 980PRO 2TB NVME M.2 PCIE4
GPU - ASUS RADEON RX 7900XT 20GB GDDR6
PSU - CORSAIR HX850 80+ PLATINUM

it does not make sense, 3k is enough to buy u an even faster system in the 13700 + 7900xtx. u can refer to it under the high performance productivity + gaming reco here:
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/pc-rig-recommendations-for-2023.6852056/u can upgrade the nvme to a 2tb one; u dont need 64gb of ram for just games, 32gb is plenty.

CPU - 7800X3D - For a gaming rig, 3D is the way to go

RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 CL30 - for a few dollars more, should go for the faster CL30 instead

Get a cheaper MB. 7800X3D cannot do much overclocking. Save it for a better GPU like 7900XTX
