Advice on Gaming PC Rig build

Hi guys I am currently using Macbook Air for my work stuffs and looking to build a new PC for some Diablo 4 gaming and using software such as Nvidia Broadcast that are only available on Windows.

I plan to be able to switch between my macbook air and the PC seamlessly so I will be using back my Dell S2721DGF monitor, Logitech MX keyboard and Master 3S mouse.

My budget is between 2K to 3K. (Excluding monitor, keyboard and mouse)

yes. other than the difference in price (almost $1k), the parts in the productivity + gaming reco are significantly faster (double the raw cpu multicore performance, over 50% faster gpu performance), though the power consumption (and in turn heat output) would likely be much higher too. I don't see much reason for u to pay that premium for your use case though.

Don't know about D4, but even the highest-end rig can't run CP2077 at 4K max settings!

yes.. the specs can run d4 at 4k...
but i am not sure about cp2077... cp2077 is like current can it run crysis....

yes, and should be able to max out ur monitor refresh rate as well at native 1440p rendering (ie before dlss).

4070 + 7600 is actually more mid-range than high-end ... lol ... well, mayb can categorize as a 1080p high-end ...
4080 + 13700K is where high-end starts ... imo

I listed the shops to get each part from. building wise, any sls shop should be fine though since u are not sourcing all the parts from the same shop u are building at likely they will charge a build fee.

upper midrange. 13700k + 4080 is too high for a starting point, only left 13900k and 4090 above it, maybe 4070ti and up.

the 4080 alone will be at least 1k more than the 4070. the 13700k + z790 would be another $300 top up. the performance gains would definitely not be worth the 65% premium, so I would say this 7600 + 4070 build is the sweet spot especially given ur use case.

Thanks for your advice NightRaven. I have 2 last questions that I hope you can answer:

1) Are these the current latest parts I can get or there are new release coming out soon that I should wait for?

2) You wrote that it is highly recommended to tune timings for gskill flare ram, but I don't know how. Can I ask the shop who is going to build the rig to tune it for me?

already latest gen. if u want play waiting game, u will never buy anything

its just basically going into the bios and inputting values. i dont think the shop will do that for u, since there are a lot of values and stability testing is required to ensure that the tuning is stable (which varies wildly from build to build). they should at least load the expo memory profile though, which comes close enough and should be good enough for most casual users.

also dont forget case, it was not included in most recos as it is more of a personal taste thing but $150 budget was included in the overall cost.

I just saw it because I didn't click on the Spoiler tab lol. The lian li o11 mini air/dynamic mini is not suitable for my case right?

Both corsair 4000d airflow & lian li lancool 216 reviews are very good, if it comes down to these 2, which one would you pick?
