Advice on MBPr 13" screen

Hi peeps , Recently just bought a new MBPr a few days ago coupled along with a keyboard protector and palm guard.


However after 1 - 2 days i noticed keyboard protector markings on my screen.

Can anyone advise if i should get a screen protector for it ?

or just getting a micro fabric clothes with a little moisture on it to do the cleaning for the screen ?

Will cleaning this way dmg the retina coating ?

Is there a possibility to convince you to do away with the keyboard protector? I think it is easier and safer to clean the keyboard than the screen.

you can get those cloth to put over your keyboard instead when you close it.

Just take note of the thickness of the cloth so as not to put constant pressure between the LCD and the keyboard.

actually without anything in between the keyboard and screen, there will be markings on the screen after a while. it happens to my previous and current mbp. unless i am using it wrongly.

I have not encountered such in my Air and rMBP, both more than 3 years old. Probably because I made sure the LCD is not over-pressed to the body when on the backpack when I lug it around.

i see. my backpack usually only contain my rMBP in upright position as i tend to travel light. but since it is only noticeable when i dim the screen to the darkest, i can live with it. too much of a hassle to keep cleaning it.

either you have both SP and KBP

or else u remove both

or u keep only SP

Keyboard mark ok screen is very normal. I also use keyboard protector and my keyboard outline ask appeared at screen. Even if u buy a screen protector , the fact will not change. U noe why? Cos I am using kb protector and a screen protector.
