No promotion now which is expensive. Any advise on other hotel like bayview, ever green and sunway.

Is Bayview the one near Komtar? Is this the hotel which has a revolving restaurant on top of some floors?

When I first visited Penang with my then gf (now my wife), I think we stayed at Bayview. Need transport to go around the places in Penang.

Hi i am selling away a 3 night stay accomodation at Armenian Street Heritage Hotel. Due to unforeseen circumstances, i can't make it on that period of the month. The stay will be from November 4th - 7th. Bought it at $225sgd.. willing to let it go for half the price.

Armenian Street Heritage Hotel

Hotel is located just beside the Georgetown World Heritage, and it is conveniently located to most of the art murals. There are many cafes in the areas too.

Please PM me if you're interested. We can try to work something out.

Lone pine at Batu feringhi? That's the beach resorts/hotels belt. A lot of pasar malam outside the long stretch of road with all the hotels there in the night. I don't really think there is much to see, more like swimming or just laze around time...

Yup,u are correct. It is called City Bayview Hotel. Another is called Bayview Beach Resort, which is located at Batu Ferringhi there. Yes,in Malaysia, u need to hire a transport to go around as the public transport is not as convenient as in Singapore. Also, there is no MRT in Penang. Bus will take a long time to reach your destination and you will not have enough time to visit Penang cuz there are so so many places to go. And taking taxi is also expensive as most taxis don't use meter.

Precisely. Thus, for subsequent years when we go Penang, it was usually together with friends heading back home to Penang. They drove us around and lots of memories.

The only downside which I have seen over the years in Penang is that food prices have skyrocketed in just a couple of years.

And sadly, the presence of A&W in Penang is gradually decreasing and almost extinct.
