Up to you, really. I will get off at Butterworth just so that I can take the ferry that goes directly to Georgetown. Sungei Nibong is on Penang island but you will need to get on another bus to get to Georgetown, and the road traffic situation becomes a factor.
Will get off at Butterworth then, thanks for the info

Hi, just booked air ticket to Penang during mid May, now searching for accommodation, have short listed the below 2 hotels, any advise on below? Like which is more children friendly .. newer and bigger room .. near to beach .. etc
Will probably need 2 rooms (4 adults and 2 kids (3&5 years old)), maybe connecting room ..
By the way, will rent a car from Airport.

01. PARKROYAL Penang Hotel
02. Golden Sands Resort by Shangri-La Penang

Finally finished reading all 99 pages over a span of 3 days.

One topic that hasn't had much discussion is traveling to and fro Teluk Bahang for things like the nature park and butterfly garden.

It's probably easy to take a bus/taxi from Georgetown to Teluk Bahang, but how about on the way back?
Since that area is quite small and not very populated, will there be taxi for us to flag down? Worried that the bus frequency is not reliable. Later end up getting stranded there.

Is it possible to take a cab from Airport to Batu Maung to see the village and Penang War Museum.

After that from Batu Maung cab up to Georgetown to start my trip?

Can't seem to find any taxi stand in that area, and I'm worried that there isn't much taxis there since it's not the town area
