[Advice] Recommend me a rig!

Dear Gurus,

My 5 year old PC has just failed on me and I badly need a rig now. My budget is within 1k plus minus, not including the OS, monitor, kb and mouse as i plan to reuse them.

I seek your help to recommend me a rig that is compatible with my ram G.SKILL Ripjaws 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1333 and SSD OCZ Vertex 4.

I will be using this rig for photo editing with CS adobe photoshop and some light gaming such as Dota 2 and CS: Go

The CMOS date keep restarting to default everytime after I turn on. I tried changing the CMOS battery but after a few days later there was smoke and burning smell came out from the pc while trying to turn on. I am not sure what are the parts that are not usable.

This rig was built about 5 years ago.

U dun need a after market cooler since u not overclocking , the stock will do fine

Hi Jian19, many thanks for your advise. Another qns to ask, is there any similiar red and black combo mobo to recommend as my ram is in red color. I would like to match the same color.
