1) Which computer is using this Windows 7 license key right now? Me confused. :s11:

2) Name all games that you wish to play with this rig.

3) List down the parts used in the old computer that is using that particular Windows 7 license.

have an old computer diy years back using win7.
now i would like to make a new one and discard this old computer so i thought of "transferring" the win7 over as i read from somwhere it is transferrable if i "remove" it off my old computer.

using for blackshot, battlefield.

CPU+ Mobo: MSI H97 PC MATE + i5 4460 (380)
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS-X 1600MHZ ( 4GBx2pcs ) CL9 (115)
GPU: SAPPHIRE R9 290X 4GB TRI-X (455) (Lazada.com)
SSD: OCZ ARC 100 240GB (154)
HDD: TOSHIBA 1TB 7200RPM (69)
DVD-RW: LITEON 24X DVD-RW SATA OEM (25)
PSU: SEASONIC S12G NON-MODULAR 650W (129)
Case: CORSAIR 200R (85)

Total cost: $1412

Unless otherwise stated, buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, get PC Themes to assemble for you for a fee.

Notes:

1) This rig is capable of playing most games at max settings in 1080p.

2) Consider reusing any HDDs, DDR3 RAMs, DVD-RW and casing from your old rig into the new rig to save $$$.

3) Since your Windows 7 is a retail version, you can just reinstall your Windows 7 without having to do anything first as this is allowed under the license terms in the retail version of Windows 7.

4) Consider reusing your old rig as a secondary backup rig or a HTPC/DL/torrent machine instead of junking your old rig. No point wasting perfectly good components.

Also, care to list out the specs of your old rig? Components that you considered to be old may not be old to us.

5) Got Mastercard? Consider buying the GPU and the casing from lazada.com on a Monday and get a 10% discount when you pay with a Mastercard. Do note that discounts are capped at $25 per transaction and it is best that you buy these items seperately.

1) The G series will do just fine. Can also buy the X series if you want, but a bit expensive though.

2) ValueRAMs will also do just fine.
