Yes u have to access those hotel booking sites via shopback. Do search for promo codes. If not wrong Expedia offers 10% discount for Dbs cards.
There's also a best price guarantee policy meaning they will beat the competitors pricing and refund you the difference if u managed to find something cheaper within 24 hours of your booking.

if u have the luxury of time to sit infront of computer for few hours to check hotel prices, then you might be able to do BPG...
must match apple to apple ...
if u ever fulfill their criteria of apple to apple,
they might not reply your bpg, and ur bpg would be stuck there forever
eventually you might wanna cancel that booking
