Hi would actually be flying to thailand next week , land in bkk sunday morning and will be going back on the next week saturday .

I heard that chatuchak is a weekend place ? So usually most shops will open on saturdays and sundays only right?

And for those normal night markets are they usually open everyday or certain days only? advise please thanks !

in central bkk, any stalls running along the main road have to be closed on monday. because that's the day BMA (Bangkok City Hall - something like our town coucil) performs cleaning.

patphong is not close on monday cos they operate in 2 soi (lanes) off the main silom road. klong lod night market is not closed because they are running off main road next to the lod canal.

street vendors along siam square are closed on monday. as well as saphan phut night market.

You can try Terminal 21 (Airport like building, with different countries theme), take BTS to Asoke...

Union Mall, quite near to Chatuchak...

Siam Square, whole stretch is like Bugis street area...
