Advise on Customizing Own Desktop.

So guys, I want to customize a gaming desktop since i heard customizing myself by getting different parts would be cheaper than a actual gaming laptop.

Hence, i would like to know what [Graphic card, motherboard, processor, hard drive, ram etc...] should i get to ensure smooth gaming and high speed loading.

And also an estimate of how much it would cost.

Help is appreciated.

P.S I am a computer noob. So if possible, please try to break down terms/explanations as simple as possible.

Mainly for BF4, BO2, dota and some other games. No need for mouse, keyboard and VE system. As for the budget... maybe around 1-1.5k?

BF4 is very graphics intensive. You might need a gtx770 and above. Currently on gtx760 there will be at times where fps will take a slight dip and recover.

Juts sharing my two cents. Bf4 will be optimized for amd graphics card. So if you are going to play that most of the time then maybe get a amd card. The hd 7000 series are getting cheaper as they ending production. You can get the 7990 for around $700 on amazon. It's their best card so far . Not sure if they still have the free games bundle.
