Hmmm...

i5-6500 more worth it than i5-6600
Dun need z170 mobo if you are not overclocking
For gaming RAM no need fancy one, and 8GB is enough
With all the savings here and there you can get a 980Ti or Fury X
For power supply is OK, but can consider Superflower Leadex 650W silver oso
Water cooling not really needed unless overclocking

That's about it from me I guess. Casing is a personal thing so I won't comment too much lol

Most SuperFlower Leadex PSU are currently OOS except for Leadex 650w Gold I think.

Seasonic X-Series 750W 80+ is highly rated.

there is no point of getting z170 if you going for a locked cpu.

Alright,if not going to overclock.
Which mainboard + cpu or diy rig will you recommend given a budget of 2-2.5k?

i7-6600?

Actually the money save on a non-oc mobo and non-k cpu + up to 2.5 k budget, TS can consider a m.2, add more rams, and a big 1440p monitor.

yup, who know future games may support multi core and go for i7-6700 instead of a i5 cpu?
