Advise on GPU

I have a question that I want to ask.

I've just recently purchased a second hand ASUS AMD R9 290 REF and the recent news of the AMD Fury came out.

So would it be advisable to do a crossfire on my R9?

you playing at what resolution?

1080p don't bother crossfire, 1 r9 290 more than enough
above 1080p crossfire

Normally I play with 1920 x 1200 Resolution with a 27" overclock monitor.

Would crossfire helps get stable fps? That's my main concern, I don't mind reduce quality to achieve that.

some games are good for crossfire. some googling would show that BF games are an example. i suppose 290 is rather cheap, no harm adding on. after all, u can simply disable CF if the game is not suitable.

Watch out for your PSU too. 650w is not enough and your 850w is cutting it close
