Advise on new rig needed

Hi guys, forgive me for creating another of these 'new rig recommendation' thread. I've looked at the the stickies but feel that the rigs listed there ain't really suited for what I need.

I will use it mainly for Maya, houdini, nuke etc, there will be a lot of rendering so I definitely need a better cpu than gpu. However I also game a little, will be playing bf4 with my clan when its out so I need a decent gpu as well, no need for anything fancy just enough for me to play low-mid settings is good.

don't think I will be overclocking given how my cpu will pretty much be under constant load.

Budget is around 1.2k not including casing, mouse and DVD drive. Is it possible to build such a rig with these budget?(yes include monitor and os ><)

Up budget is no problem, but I'll need to wait another month for my pay. Currently still a student thats why tight budget. OS actually dun need lah and you included casing which i dont need as well

Thanks. I like the increase in ram, but i feel that the gpu upgrade might be a little unnecessary. Would it be better to keep the gpu as 650 and upgrade the cpu to 4770 with an entry level mobo for around $480?

Any decreasing the GPU you might not be able to play bf4 at a decent fps.

If you don't mind the budget then can go for a MSI b85m - g43 with i7-4770 $487.
Gtx660 is like a bare minimum for bf4

Yes no issues. The i7 takes about 80++ w

The GPU takes about 180w at max. The rest of the components isn't that much.
