Hi guys, would appreciate if you could weigh in on my upcoming pc build.

Purpose: Web surfing, basic photoshop, watching bluray videos, Football Manager 2020

Reason for upgrade: SSD crashed and my build is 5 years old, not sure if i should upgrade it or just buy a new SSD.

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C Mini $136 (Lazada)
PSU: Superflower Leadex III 650W ARGB $169 (Lazada)
MB+Processor: MSI B450M Mortar Max + Ryzen 5 3600 $445
Gfx: Zotac GTX 1660 Super AMP $346.88 (Lazada)
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3000mhz CL16 8GB x2 $139
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD NVMe M.2 500GB $199 (Lazada)

I have a 5 year old Seasonic 650W Gold Semi-Modular PSU and a R9 290 Tri-X. Do advise if I should reuse my PSU and Gfx card.

Thanks in advance :)

With DDR4 RAM and NVMe SSD prices currently so low, I would build a new rig.

You can reuse psu and gpu, don't see a issue.
You could potentially get cheaper 3600 off amazon.
Try to get 3200mhz cl16 for ram
samsung 970 is ex but if you got money, sure.

wednesday night, i update and shut down windows 10. Thursday morning, com could on and i could hear the sounds of windows 10 starting up, but computer screen had no display. I did a couple of restarts, then checked BIOS. My boot drive could not be detected. Tried resetting my C drive but to no avail.

I would skip the argb psu since it will be in the shroud

Don’t have to go high end on m2 unless you are video editor or smth. Xpg s40g can alr. Plus got rgb
