Advise on upgrade (Current specs within)

Hi all, need some advise on upgrading my aging desktop.

Specs are above. I would like a reasonable upgrade without spending too much as I only use the desktop 3 hrs a day at most. I usually use it most for web browsing, some light photoshop, microsoft office, streaming HD videos.

my priorities are:

cpu upgrade
ram upgrade
motherboard upgrade (only if necessary)
gfx card upgrade (optional)

appreciate all the help !

if u want mobo and cpu upgrade can go dig @IT gauge and look for i7 2600k + any Z68 board. (though its consider a minimal upgrade.) but the price and availability is still an unknown

Your CPU is slightly under-powered but still fine for your purposes. You can upgrade to i7-2600 for about S$180 selling the i5-2400 for about $80 or so.

I would upgrade the RAM to 8GB from your current 4GB. (If you are not on 64-bit Windows, upgrade.)

Look for 2nd hand 2600/2600K/2700K.
