If taking public transport, getting to aeon jusco is still quicker than going to KSL if u factor in the bus waiting time.

Sent from Samsung SM-G920I using GAGT

There are so many buses going to KSL... if you simply wait for IM17 or KSL, that will be sometime. However, there are many buses that pass by Pelangi, you can alight near there and walk over to KSL within 5min. RM1.3
I have posted this information a few times before. it was 188 bus driver who taught me this "lesson"... learn my lesson listening to driver saying go KSL only to discover they alight me beside the hotel along the main road and ask me to walk in.

Guess it good too on several occasion coming back on Monday night after pasar malam. KSL bus was super long queue. Walk out and take any of the buses. Reached JB Sentral even faster

totally not true.
BET6 waiting time is at least 30min, sometimes more than 1hr+
and what's more the bus doesn't always dock into bus bay, just pass by and horn. if u miss it, too bad, wait for the next one :o
buses going to KSL are way more frequent.

Dude, BET6 may be the most direct but it is not the only bus going to Aeon. Many bus services going in direction of Ulu Tiram or Kota Tinggi stop by the slope leading up to Aeon. If u missed one bus, u can simply take another bus service hence reducing bus waiting time. I'm coming from this perspective.

My experience, I often take 227. Bus seems to be always queuing at bay 1. Either the last one just left or waiting to depart. Total journey about 30min.
perhaps waiting time could be up to 15 min depending on when.

However, for KSL bus, sometimes, too many people, have to wait for the next bus. But KSL is easy to go. I don't really wait unless KSL bus is ready and I am able to board. Else I will take any other buses that pass Sentosa... alight after Pelangi and walk in. journey time about 10min 5 min walk.
By the way, KSL bus usual waiting time 20min. Can confirm?

My past experience, I never like take KSL bus because when I went in in those days, there was only one bus going round inthe morning. Miss the bus, your wait is a good 1hr. Why, because I used to take KSL bus to Denga City Mall... the longest I ever waited was 1hr 5min at DCM, just missed the bus. Longest wait at JB Sentral... was close to 1hr. missed the 10am bus, next bus almost at 11am and waited for a while before departing.

I always go in in the morning. Perhaps my perception is, it has improved over the past 2 years. I had since stopped visiting DCM

what pattern they use?

Walk across the bridge to the other side to take bus back to JB Sentral. Robbery? Just be careful when you get up the bus, beware who is behind and in front of you. Avoid wallet in loose pant which you won't feel anything should you be robbed.

I have been there so many times over the years alone. Just be watchful and look around at the bus stop waiting for bus. There was only once it happened to my colleague. Kana pickpocketed while getting on board the bus. Same pattern use by these pickpockets. Even the driver also know their tactic. Just that my colleague let his guard down assuming everything was alright when the driver asked him before moving on. If he had discovered it, we could have gotten everything back. I was behind him but view blocked by one of the 3 who pickpocketed my colleague.

2 in front and one behind you. even bus driver is aware of the tactic. driver alert us but my colleague took it for granted nothing lost. once bus move on, can't stop as that is the so call highway.... he claim. That's why he asked before moving off... but my colleague told him nothing missing only to discover wallet missing. later

That day, he was wearing a loose 3/4 pants with a loose side pocket on each side. So he didn't feel anything at all when some one pick it up. My view was block even though I was behind him. Then as fast as it happen, the 3 came down the bus forcing me to get down and let them alight.
That was when the bus driver suspected something prompted him to ask.
He mentioned the previous week, some one was pick in the same manner on his bus.

Anyway, not sure how the situation is now. I hardly take bus there. Mostly friend drives up.

Which one do you guys prefer ? Aeon Bukit Indah or Tebrau?

Tebrau just went thru a major renovation expanded quite a lot. Now got UK's JD Sports for those into sneakers and streetwear. Many other shops and makan and cinema. On top of that, Ikea next door will be opening anytime soon. So Tebrau for me.

Hi,

Can I check with you that if I do not want to take BET6 bus from Tebrau to JB Sentral, what bus can I take and where can I take? I read that the frequency is 40 Mins.

Am I right to say I can take any bus from the bus stop opposite Tebrau Aenon? All buses will go JB sentral?

The other services (6B, 41, 188 etc) are not express and will make many more stops. I still advise you to take BET16.
Only take those that say JB Sentral, not Larkin, if you want to go back to the CIQ directly.

I believe long time ago, someone mentioned that buses going to Tirum or Kota Tinggi will pass Tebrau Aeon. Based on that, I have been taking buses to Aeon Tebrau... Whether really express or not, I am not sure how long that will take. I take 227 most time in the morning going in as there seems to be always one waiting at bus bay 1. Soon after, I have long forgotten about taking other buses to Tebrau. It travels on the Tebrau highway.
In fact, my initial reaction was, what highway, its more like you normal road. However, as I recalled something like that too when I was in NZ.

The journey is about 35min. I can't recall exactly how long as I have tracked the timing before. But after so many years, I have long forgotten. I am usually at JB Sentral terminal before or around 10am.... the bus is already there. Depending, sometimes bus starts off, sometimes, sit inside for 10-15min before departure. Anyway, my experience is, there seems to be one waiting to fill the bay after the current left.

Approximately reach and alight around 10.35-40am, then walk in.

Its up to you to decide what to take, but for me, I am aware of BET6, but since the waiting time is so long and the service time for the bus to come is unknown, No point waiting, much as well, spend more time exploring. Ask around, there are inspector or drivers around touting for passengers. They are willing to tell you about the buses.
