I know Giant your favourite, but I went there sometime in Nov ended up buying nothing because those stuff that I wanted were either not available there or cost more.

KSL Tesco charges higher than normal Tesco shop. I avoid buying unless necessary. But last Monday, I bought Knorrs porridge (pack of 3) for RM4.5 while it is sold at UO Store for RM3.8, Tebrau Jusco/Tesco= RM4.2. Giant could not find at all. Some stuff from Giant, cost more than my SG source.
But I noticed MyKuali white curry noodle was on offer and cheapest, cheaper than anywhere else I had been.... real cheap can't remember the price.

Don't bet on it. The so call rebate, I think there is restriction on how to use it. I read something about it some years back and had since not apply any membership at all.

By the way, Tesco pricing has since gone up in Nov. It is no longer cheaper any more. Most stuff very close to JUSCO pricing.... and some cost more and vice versa....

There's a simple supermarket at city square basement. Can't remember what it's called but good enough if u wanna get basic stuff.

By the time u take taxi etc to tebrau, the cost savings might be eroded.

Kapitan... In fact, there is a bigger and larger one over at Galleria Kotaroya. Someone mentioned JBCC also has one branch.

For Tebrau, if you really want to save, must do your home work. Else buying wrong stuff or things that may be marginally cheaper, cost more than SG?....not worth it. Unless you just take it as another outing for fun and
buy whatever along the way.... forget about saving.... Jusco car park is still under renovation till April 15 I think. So walking over to Tesco is kind of hassle. Besides, Prices have gone up.... no longer that cheap

Yup agree. Imports expected to be pricier due to recent depreciation of ringgit. One electronics shop in kl warned me prices will go up in the next few days.

Things will get even pricier come apr 2015 with the 6% gst. As usual, we won't expect just a 6% increase .

Aeon is the organization, Jusco is the department store / supermarket?

Anyway, in Bukit Indah, Tesco, Jusco, and Giant are all in the same area. I've never bothered much about price differences since I don't buy half the place home. :s13:

For me, it is not about a few items when I compared. Usually with a series of items, the info I have with me whenever I cross over to buy. I have pictures of stuff of things that I would likely to buy, on a "mission". Prior to departure, I would go online to check which current promotion is the best before deciding where to go.

Mid Dec, I was in KL Sungei Wang Gaint, bought Lays' chips, very cheap, but 2 get 1 free. I know can't find that price else where because I was at Aeon too. Nice terry bear was also cheap, RM10 don't recall any where else selling this kind of price for nice toy. Bought 2.

Thought jusco rebranded as aeon already?

Not Jusco. Careefour was taken over and rename Aeon BIG. Still existing at the same Carrefour location. Jusco and BIG belongs to the same parent company, Aeon. However, in Mid Valley, KL, Jusco was converted to Aeon. not sure why

I thought there is Jusco in Tebrau City?

Yes, but think this time round the name has been changed to Aeon. Didn't realise any sign about the changes. Anyway, make no difference, they belongs to the same parent company.
