Well, if you are OK with Russian food and 'service' - better, absence of such you can try.

Is it non-stop or you have to transit? If latter, I would suggest avoiding, especially in winter months.

Check transit time and if change of airport is required in Moscow. There are 4 airports in Moscow iirc. You'll need a visa if your transit is >24 hours and/or if you need to get out of the airport to the other airport.

Direct flights between 2 countries are usually restricted to their home carriers.

Are you sure it's operated by Aeroflot? It can be a code share flight operated by one of its partner. Code share flight nbr is usually 4 digits.

@dilphinus, yup all sectors operated by aeroflot.

What's the flight nbr? On which day of the week?

actually, their website have. but the timing doesn't make sense. direct flight takes longer than connecting flight??? https://www.aeroflot.ru/sb/app/us-e...171210.PAR-PAR.20180107.TYO&youth=0&_k=y53rz7

Pretty sure there's no direct flights on SU between Tokyo and Paris as direct air routes rights are usually given to home carriers. SU 261 probably continues with the same flight nbr from Moscow to Paris (after Tokyo to Mosco). Probably also no change of air craft.

I think you have not taken into consideration time difference when you make the comment of direct flight takes longer than connecting flights. Direct flight between Tokyo and Paris takes approximately 12 and a half hours.

hmmmm.... direct flights means there can b transit

iirc, only NON-STOP flights mean straight to the final destination

I dunno if airlines use the same jargon in the same way.....
