Does anyone have a bad experience with any of the notebook vendors? Who offer good service and whose service is lousy. Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Apple, or Fujitsu? Please advise.

working as a System Integrator for so many years, to me the aftersales support from all major laptop manufacturers are the same. Give them a call today, their engineer will come onsite on next day. This applies to Dell/HP/Lenovo.

If you have the budget stick to Dell/HP/Lenovo's commercial laptops. Warranty service is always much better than those home-use models.

Thank you for all your advise. I am considering buying a notebook and normally, it need to be serviced by vendors. If any of you have any experiences, whether good or bad, may be shared here so the community can have a better exposure to their services.

get Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad, or HP Probook/Elitebook. Usually these business laptops come with 3 years onsite warranty as standard.

you can forget the rest.
