Aftermarket cooler?

Looking for an aftermarket cooler - going to be doing heavy encoding work for quite a few months. My cores are at 63~64degs at least at 100% load, and I'm looking to lower the temp.

Not looking into watercooling - can anyone suggest a suitable aftermarket cooler for my specs ->?

Budget around 50~70.

63-64C is actually pretty good for a 3470 on a stock cooler.
Anyway, if you want to get a cooler, a Xigmatek Gaia @ $39 would do.

Precisely my thoughts. The temps look really good, and is nowhere near the critical level. To be honest, there is no need to change your stock cooler if you are not overclocking, and when the temps under load looks perfectly fine. But then again, the $$$ is yours, so you have to decide. Cooling it any lower won't make any difference.

63~64 is pretty good at 100% load, but if I keep it running at 100% for a long time would that have any negative effects? :/

Save your money..

Since already say it is at 63-64 'C at 100% load, means it will not increase more than that.

63-64'c are really nice temps way below the thermal limits.

Naw the chip was made to tolerate such temps. I reckon ur hdd will go byebye b4 ur chip

Delid is best way to lower your temps

Undervolt should help to bring below 60deg c
