Been looking around for a new Desktop PC. Buying prebuilt one because I have no knowledge/experience with building one myself and willing to pay a little extra to save Time & Effort (yes I'm pretty lazy). Figured now is a good time to buy one and take advantage of 10.10 or 11.11 sale. Looking for something ~$2k, can run games in decent settings and last >5 years. Is the above product reasonable for the price? Thanks!

AFTERSHOCK GLACIER 240mm Watercooling <-- will probably die or will have issues in a few years (maybe 2 years maybe 5 maybe 10) due to pump failure, permeation etc. Nothing to do with brands , just aio in general. If you just want a desktop that you can park and not think about it, just go for air cooler. But if you are handy, have a bit of experience to troubleshoot / change parts after your warranty period, then aio sounds fine..

Anyway, is quite heng suay one.

Good point. Since he's lazy, can assume he don't open up chassis to clean PC every 6 months. Is aftershock warranty good? fast replacement compared to ownself going down to rma?

Yea , new gen cpu is coming too. No point getting 3700x

Wait for Ryzen 5000 series CPU and 6000 GPU to be out, compare benchmarks then decide.

It depends on how urgent you need it though.

Overpaying $400-500 for less than ideal parts (the brand of components) might as well DIY buying parts online via newegg or amazon or go to SLS for a full system build

Do note the price includes servicing/ warranty from Aftershock. It’s true that you can get it cheaper from SLS, but if the system fails at some point, you need to troubleshoot and RMA yourself.

• Wait for new generation of CPU and GPU to be released.
