Hi would like to ask more about aftershock desktop! Would you guys recommend bolt or zeal? Going for Budget build which can support gaming too. Help me out please!

Bolt or Zeal, it's just a name. Specs matter more. A bolt or zeal with the same i5 & 16gb RAM, running the same gtx 1060, and same 240gb ssd, would yield the SAME performance while costing slightly higher for Zeal. You're buying a nicer chassis and motherboard on Zeal (NZXT H500, B360 motherboard are better overall and more features) rather than Bolt (Tecware Nexus M, H310 motherboard, budget and less features and usable)

Do note: if you're getting an i5 and above, it is recommendable to get an aftermarket cooler (ID cooling IS40 as per Bolt offering) for better cooling and boost performance, as well as a B360 motherboard which generally are better built power delivery on the board to handle 6 cores CPUs

What is your budget?

What monitor are you using?

Alternatively, you can ask Aftershock sales personnel at their HQ to recommend you their product too. As far as my experience with them, they are quite friendly and helpful with specs choosing.

My Budget is around $1k? I haven't choose what monitor to use but preferably able to play most games smoothly.

Given your very limited budget, just go for the Bolt. You can't really afford anything else. Follow this config:

For operating system, make your own Windows 10 installer thumb drive. Google for Windows Creation Tool, download from Microsoft site and follow on screen instruction to install into a USB thumb drive. You only need an 8GB or bigger USB thumb drive. Use without activating is fine. At least, you don't pay over 100 bucks for a Windows license.

For drivers, you only need motherboard and GPU drivers. Those can download from online based on the model you receive from Aftershock. Don't need to use the DVD included as PC these days don't have DVD ROM anyway.

Windows 10 can be used without activation. Just cannot change wallpaper and have that watermark on the bottom right corner

You can just use it like normal. Won't affect your everyday.

Without activating, you are short of the freedom to do changes to the system settings on certain things. Just give it a try. You will understand. Activating is just a matter on where you buy your key. And original ones are about $139 each. There are other means of buying an original key, but you go figure yourself how to obtain them.

That's all I can share within the lines of hwz forum.
