hi guys can i ask about my aftershock 15"
i think its about 2 years old
but somehow i feel ther performance is dipping....

the USB ports are as responsive as before,
theres things static tone when i plug in the ear phones
the fan is like off and on full power for no reason

issit time to reset the laptop and reinstall everything ?

This kind of thing, push to Aftershock service center lar. They got free servicing and thermal compound changing for their laptop for this kind of issue. HWZ and Aftershock is 2 different thing, unless you are here to troubleshoot something you don't know.

Check your receipt??? If not, u can try email them your PC serial number to check first.

but i called,
they say, thermal paste, cleaning + reinstall windows is free

thermal paste, cleaning ~20 mins
windows ~1 hour +

so probably gonna leave it there in the morning/noon
then evening go and take

They close at 5-6pm, best to consider collecting the next day. Even so, they have other PCs to attend to which came in earlier than urs. So you must also clarify on lead time.

i thought so too, how come they can offer on the spot service for cleaning and putting thermal paste...
look like this service works on an "interrupt" basis LOL

the windows installation part obviously is largely automated
