Aftershock

Going through the list for aftershock desktops, I don’t see anywhere listed for PSU. Can someone clarify?

You need not select any options for PSU, they will choose on your behalf depending on what gpu you use. But, if u want, u can ask them what brand/model they use.

i feel that u should understand what u are trying to buy. i saw their website using cheap asrock motherboards - dont know if it is good or not.

Expensive Asus motherboard also fail. Dont understand what to do with life liao.

They use mainly FSP and EVGA PSU. To my point of view, this ain't unreliable. BTW, you're covered with warranty, which they will solve it for you regardless.

Asrock motherboard though, I can't be sure how well that goes as those using Haswell series and sometimes post in this forum for helps with wonky issue, I see a majority of them is using Asrock.

Asrock isn't like biostar, don't worry.

They are quite similar to asus and used to be a subsidiary.

Many years ago, this asrock brand entered the market and people have had their doubts regarding its quality. But nowadays its well known so people don't ask about it anymore. I would say its as popular as asus.

None of my asrock boards has had an issue so far, they are reliable and cheap. That explains why many people choose to use and recommend it. I don't see a reason to pay for more expensive board unless for aesthetics，overclocking or features. Money can be spent to improve the performance of the system instead.

If i were to pick motherboard, i would go for asus or asrock... other brands don't feel like a full package to me.

Asrock isn't even cheap anymore, if you look carefully at Tradepac pricelist Gigabyte is often cheaper than Asrock for the equivalent budget board.

i will never consider gigabyte boards.. last time before i series come out still quite good. After that they proved to be incompetent.. for instance their bios.
