Agoda DBS promotion

Does anybody try using DBS Fresh Credit Card to book Agoda hotels and get 7% Direct Discount from Agoda + 5% Cash Rebate from DBS Fresh Card?

Dbs in this jan have promo ...
normally they would give you specific link to make your bookings
you would know if your hotel is eligible to enjoy the coupon or not ...
normally hotel chains wont be able to use (ie: accor, starwoords, marriott, etc)
the discount would be reflected immediately , so you know how much to pay

For credit card with cash rebate, have to check with respective bank
some bank rebate would only be reflected on the next month, not current one.

I noticed something when I tried to book at Agoda few months ago when I was planning my trip to Indonesia, the hotel prices on the promo website (dbs & citibank) are more expensive compare to the normal Agoda website.

After the "discount" when you enter the credit card details, the net price you gonna pay is almost the same, so there is no discount after all.

Yes, I am in agreement with this.

Like fellow forumer has said, the discount doesn't apply to all hotels, especially popular hotels. So this 7/8% doesn't really benefit unless the hotel u chose is a participating hotel for this promo.

Prices really do varies ...
if u use websites such as trivago to link to agoda ...
and if you use dbs agoda link, this link price would be higher ...
so far have tried last time, really make sense

UOB also managed to link up with Agoda, 7% discount if you book using their cards as well

current promo is 8% to Indonesia and Europe...shioks
