Mayb share what in the feature u like? Then i will share with u a better alternative

Base on the brochure & proposed plan given to me, with a annual of 6k premium for 5yrs...the payout is $740/mth for 10yrs after abt 17yrs into the plan.

The total payout is over 100%, is that really possible?
Was told that the returns will be gd due to rule of 72 and also as the fund mgr are institutional investors:s11::s11:

Its investment, its for illustration, none of it is guaranteed or even min guaranteed. If they payout start on year 17 and just nice all funds drop, u will lose that money. Choose a investment plan that u can choose when to take or when to stop taking dividend.

What is your objective? For retirement? Or?

Go for a plan that is means for retirement or most of them will says, put into oa/sa but of course it all depends. Retirement plans you can have the option to have payout starting as early as age 55. To bridge the gap till age 65 when cpf starts payout.

Should avoid ILP at all cost for retirement planning as the cost of insurance will rise exponentially once you hit a certain threshold and the cost will rise rapidly. Usually around the age of 45~50. Go for a monthly income retirement plan is much wiser than a lump sum payout.

Depends. The 1 you mentioned is comes with protection. There are plans that is 100% pure investment and charges will get lower at the back.
