Is that possible?

Possible but 2 concerns:

  1. Windows 7 support for touch screen interface is not as good as Windows 8. Is your AIO touch screen?
  2. There might be proprietary hardwares in the AIO specially made for the manufacturer that have only software drivers for Windows 8.

The whole idea of AIO is to have a system with fixed configuration which is ready to be used out-of-the-box, like consumer electronics and gaming consoles. Not meant for customers who want to fiddle around or modify.

Trying to reformat an AIO and change the OS is like jail-breaking rooting the device. The manufacturer is not likely to take responsibility if you mess around and spoil it. Most probably void your warranty.

Ehm, usually manufacturer will not go to the extend of voiding the warranty due to custom OS installed by customer , the most they will load back with the default OS when the product is in need of servicing..

The best bet to see whether the product support win7 or not is to go to the manufacturer's website and see whether they have the win 7's drivers available for download or not...if it does, at least u can be assured that it will have the drivers to support. Just need to get a oem/retail version win7 and start downgrading.
