Anyone had travel from SIN to CTS with both airlines, seeking for review & feedback. Family of 6 travelling & wondering should i pay extra $300 each for ANA or save the $1800 and spent it something else.

Thank you.

Have you tried JAL? every time I compare these 2, JAL is always cheaper.

Also try SQ? I heard they have sales from a few threads ago, worth to check.

I think for transit, more ppl would prefer Thai or Cathay cos flights departing China tend to have delays.

The price different is now $250 per ticket for JAL/ANA. Transit is 3hrs for outbound & 7hrs for inbound. I have access for airport lounge & will be purchasing travelling insurance for everyone. I have read alots of review regarding their sucks services & bad attitude. Ex travellers says 90% traveller is their nationality so prepared to hear high pitched voices. I'm more concern if there's any IFE onboard & their baggages allowance. Actually i'm quite excited to experience flight delay so i can make claims to my travel insurance but hopefully lost or delay baggages doesn't happen to me.

wow. thats a first. youre willing to go through alot of hassle for a couple of hundred dollars from insurance? i think most people here willing to spend that couple of hundred dollars to get to their destination safely with no problems/delays.

Not judging, but I wouldn't risk it especially if I were to travel with family.

What about SQ? no more sale?

any old folks in your group?

if no old folks and are young adults that are willling to be adventurous, i will suggest get the flight that has long reasonable layover (not those layover that has flight departing at 6am) and experience another country. maybe you need to pay ~ $150 to $200/night hotel. some food expenses, travel expenses, if work out that you still are left with 1k (or any amount that you are delighted with) from the 1.8k after all that then go for longer layover.

you will have that extra 1k to use/save on your final destination.

Air China has 'new' air crafts with IFE.

Flew with them last Nov, to Tokyo.

China Eastern not bad. I always take this airline to China. Service and entertainment comparable to SIA. Part of star alliance.

China Eastern is part of the Sky Team, not Star Alliance.
