Air con leaking

Anyone has encountered air con leaking and manged to resolve with a good air con maintenance servicing company? Been doing serving and top up gas but air con will be not cold after few days. Need to check if its leaking and which partis leaking. Talked to 2 so far but they don't sound very professional and honest to me

here are a few basic about aircon:

- if aircon leaking, means the waste water pipe is blocked, usually due to built-up of algae/"jelly". (just need to ask aircon service to use vacuum to clear the choke)
- if aircon not cold due to low gas, usually means gas is leaking (a normal working aircon system wont need to top-up gas at all)
my starmex use for 11 years also never top up gas before
- Aircon will also be not cold due to faulty air compressor (need few hundred to change parts..)

dont waste $ to do pressure test to find out where is leaking (cost ~$400 to test?)
if aircon is quite new, just redo all the pipes
if aircon is quite old, just buy a brand new system

- The previous air con guy did the sucking but its still the same
- they also checked compressor said no problem.
Ya now they said do pressure test cost $500 :'( omg
Air con is 5yo now.

I have 2 compressors and each linked to 3 fan coils. 1 set totally ok but the other not cold now after cleaning and top up has hence suspect leaking. But the quote is really high
