That right all aircon about the same all depending on your luck..
Hopefully there will be one cover full warranty for everything.

My relative just installed LG artcool so far very good. My past experience with LG is also very good.

Only LG offered 5 yrs warranty on everything and its made in Korea.

And it's the most quiet.

To The_King,

Every brand will also have their own service team to handle warranty claims & after warranty service.

Hi,

I am looking to change from my System 4 Daikin aircon to System 3 aircon. Looking at the response here, most recommended Mitsubishi Starmex.

I just received a quote:

System 3 (30K BTU)
9K BTUx3 : $2890
12K BTU, 9K BTUx2 : $2990
18K BTU, 9K BTUx2 : $3090
24K BTU, 9K BTUx2 : $3390

Price based on Standard HDB Installation only (w/o standard steel bracket)
Inclusive of GST
Material:
22 SWG Copper Pipes
Armaflex Class 1 Insultation
16MM Durable PVC Drain Pipes
Singapore Cable 3C40 & 3C70 Wire Cable
Durable & Fire Resistance White PVC

Warranty:
1 year Installation Materials
1 Year Workmanship
1 Year Spare Parts
5 Year Compressor

My bedroom size is:
Room 1) Length: 3.5m + Width: 3.5m + Ht: 2.6m
Room 2) Length: 2.75m + Width: 4m + Ht: 2.6m
Room 3) Length: 2.75m + Width: 4m + Ht: 2.6m

Can anyone advise if the price is a good price? And also, which BTU should we go for?

Thank you!

Living room can consider for 24k if the area more square type, if more rectangular type can consider 18k more efficient, but your 3 rooms just go with 10k btu good than enough.

I am not sure about daikin how efficient of this, my house used system 3 Mit starmex so far so good... The cooling just right as very comfort and energy saving as well.

Cause my bedroom size was 3 x 4m x 2.6 height for 10k wouldn't feel underpower of this.

To snowylop ,
Your room 1 requires ard 6.5k btu.
Room 2 5.5k btu.
Room 3 5.5k btu.

3 x 9k btu fancoil is sufficent.
Compressor btu is 27k btu, which is enough to support all 3 operating at the same time.

Price is reasonable.
