Hi everyone.

I'm new to this forum, keen to gather some opinion regarding system 3 inverters... Worked it down to these 2 options cos Daikin is more pricey..

1. Mitsubishi MXY-3A28VA / MSY-GE10VA x 3

2. Panasonic CU-3S27MKZ / CS-S9KKZW X 3

Both will cost between 2700-2800 based on the quotations I received.

Your comments pls?

Thanks!!!

Daikin inverter sys 3 around $2.8k can get with install. But exclude bracket... :)

That will be the 3MKD75 3 tick inverter system right? Was quoted 2740 for that one... the more efficient Daikin 3MKS71ESG will likely be 3K and more I suppose.

Won't need a bracket...

Any better offer that ya aware of? Can drop me a text if ya aware??

Thanks!!

Panasonic is giving NTUC Voucher now, so it should be the better choice during promotion time

I would choose option 1... very quiet and easy to clean.

Just make sure there is no additional cost.

Last time, a friend told me that he bought the aircon very cheap at small electronic shop, but during the installation, the installation guy decided the location for the FCU (very near to the compressor) and when my friend asked the FCU to be installed in the centre (and facing to the bed), the guys ask for $100 for every 1 metre. At the end of the day, he needs to pay few hundreds dollar more.

$100 for every metre!? isn't that a bit too much? :s22:

The service man shouldn't charge you extra but wouldn't surprise that they do as they are a out-sourced party. My sister was in a similar situation like you but her Daikin aircon installer didn't charge her extra.

Mitsubishi is aggressive for its advertising but the brand is so-so for aircon. Panansonic is good for household products. Daikin is a specialist for aircon. I think Daikin is the brand to buy for aircon.

It seems like it is awlays a choice between daikin, mitsubishi and panansonic. And daikin though expensive seems to have many fans.
