The VirusDoctor generates active hydrogen and oxygen ion, which forms Hydroperoxy radicals (HOO–). It reacts with virus and turns into harmless water vapor (H2O) Also the active hydrogen (H) combines with OH-radical and forms water vapor, neutralizing harmful OH-radical.

search virus doctor in thread. got post a few videos

some ionizer charge up negative/positive ions so dust particles attracts together, make it falls. so not just ozone, what if u use pure ionizer without air purifier, what happens to all the extra dust created if u dont clean the air? more dust.

Thanks. So just to understand:

1. For Haze there is no need for VirusDoctor right? So I will keep it off.

2. Ionizer maybe I will switch on if psi is very high - maybe 200+. The HEPA filter should do the job anyway correct? And also ionizer will take up more electricity.

1. Yes there is no need for VirusDoctor for haze.
2. For me I will switch on ionizer when one of us (my wife or myself) is sick, eg. having flu. Else not much point. Anyway, heard (not sure) that the effective zone of the ionizer is quite small.

level is way lower than the safe level.

Samsung AX40 vs AX041.

Are they using the same filter?

so the only difference is it that AX40 comes with ioniser off by default whereas AX041 is ioniser on by default and it cannot be turned off?

Just received my spare xiaomi spare filter.

This one is the high density AC filter.

Didn't know I can remove the middle AC filter.

at the end of the day its flowrate x filter efficiency.

flowrate is the most important if efficiency is more than 95%. an increase of 1% will make little difference for a machine that can push 300-400m3/h of clean air
