Just realized I still got a brand new Air+ reuseable mask back when the govt distribute for covid in my drawer, checked expiry 2024 but its unopened. Can save money from buying new mask and hopefully the haze will be gone in 30 days (can only reuse up to 30 washes).

Those surgical and cloth mask are useless for haze, see many people wearing as good as dont wear.

Need to have N95-Grade Filtration: The mask filters at least 95% of fine particles measuring between 0.1 and 0.3 microns, which includes the smoke and PM2.5 dust particles found in haze.

i think the concern is the layers can disintegrate back into raw plastic powder after a number of years .... suck into lungs is more damage than haze or virus

within expiry no such issue because still "fresh"

for normal surgical mask i think expiry+1year is max for me .... it's cheap stuff no need to risk health
