Anyone knows how come some designers put an aircon pelmet in the L box but some dont & the aircon is almost touching the L box?

Any pros & cons of having or not having aircon pelmet?

If the aircon is too close to the ceiling, the airflow will be affected (weaker) as nowadays, most aircon comes with top suction design in order for the fancoil to have a sleek front panel.

Ok but how come some places i see they hide half the aircon inside the pelmet & for others the entire aircon is outside the pelmet?

Depending on location & some other factors like interior designer requirements.

If you don’t have aircon pelmet, aircon might be too close to the false ceiling which affects airflow.
