Airdrop problems

Anyone encounter airdrop cannot be detected on iPad iphone or MacBook after 8.02?

Please help

Airdrop only works between iOS devices and Mac if you have Yosemite installed on your Mac

It can't be detected between iPhone and iPad also

I believe there is some problem...

My friends 6 plus unable to airdrop to my 5s ios 7.1.2... somehow couldnt detect my phone...

Maybe I did not wait long enough... but it did feel kinda long... and went with sending to me via iMessage instead...
